- I have a client who is also a good friend, who is looking to buy a
- good, reliable voice (fax/data) modem and software to handle calls
- while he is away from his medical practice office. He needs it to be
- very predictable and reliable, and to forward (or at least alert) his
- pager when messages are left in a particular mailbox.
-
- His plan is to try to replace his human answering service with a PC.
-
- Whether that's a wise or medically ethical choice is none of my
- business.
-
- Can anyone refer me to a review of voice modems and software, or just
- give me your opinions of what to look at, and what to avoid?
-
- Thanks!
